LIBRARY SERVICES DURING THE COVID-19 CLOSING
Due to the accelerated spread of COVID-19 in our state, the library will not be staffed for an undetermined
amount of time. we will keep you informed of changes to our status. During this time the following will be in place:
. All items originally due during this time have been extended to April 25 and we will reevaluate this date if we are not open by that time,
so don't worry about renewing or returning right now.
. We are not sure how often the book drop will be emptied, so if possible please do not return your items until we reopen. Do not return items to the
book drop if it is overflowing as we cannot guarantee that you will not be charged to replace lost or damaged materials.
. You are welcome to place holds, but they will not be available for pick-up right until after we reopen to the public. We will hold all items
for you until we reopen, so keep your hold notices as a reminder and ignore the "pick up by" date.
. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about your
library record or checkouts, need reference information, would like to suggest a purchase for our collection or inquire about a
book or movie, or would like to place or cancel a hold.
. Visit our homepage to access eBooks and audiobooks, use our databases, and link to classes, movies, and Acorn TV.
For your reference needs we also offer our Digital Reference Shelf.
. If your library card is expired, please email email@example.com. We can update
your card for 30 days or more so you can download books and access databases. Come in for your 3-year renewal when we are open again.
. Tax forms are available online at IRS.GOV and on the CT Department of Revenue Services website.

. Students and educators who are having problems accessing reSearchItCT
databases using the links provided on the page can use the following username and password provided by EBSCO:
. No programs, including knitting, book clubs, and storytimes, will take place during this period and the community room
will not be available for rental.
