Oscar, a literate canine.

The Windsor Locks Public Library’s Born to Read Welcome Baby program welcomes newborns to the Windsor Locks community. This program has been developed to foster a love of reading and promote literacy in families. Each welcome baby packet contains a board book, Born to Read bib, and library information.

Infants who are 3 months or younger and a resident of Windsor Locks are eligible to receive the packet. To receive a welcome baby packet, please fill out a "Welcome Baby" registration form and deposit it in the Born to Read box at the Library. Please include a current phone number so we may call you when your free packet is ready for pickup.

Registration forms are available at the library or may be printed out in PDF on your home computer.

The completed form may be mailed in or deposited in the "Born to Read" box in the library.
