Welcome to Windsor Locks Library's 2014 Adult Winter Reading Program, Get Cozy With a Good Book.
This year's theme is Literary Getaways. All of our weekly prizes will include unusual book
combinations and Restaurant.com certificates. Consider trying a new genre to read and a new place to eat!
Registration will take place throughout January and February. There is no "required" reading...
what you like (including magazines) and submit your titles read (or finished) during January through early March
to be eligible for prizes. Join us anytime, and be sure to check out our
Winter Reading blog for reviews and comments!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Register during January or February at the library's
circulation desk. You may also register online by filling out this form and clicking the SUBMIT button:
Each participant will be given an information
sheet that includes slips to be turned in as you finish reading or listening to each book or magazine of your choice.
Additional sheets can be obtained at the circulation desk as you need them or you can print your own by clicking
here. See below for information on regustering and submitting
Cut and fill out a slip for every book
or magazine that you complete during
January and February.
Turn in your entry at at the circulation desk and you will automatically be
entered into the next upcoming drawing.
An online version of our entry slip is also available below for your
convenience. It IS winter, after all, and we can't always depend on the weather to cooperate with our plans
to visit the library!
All of our readers are welcome to submit reviews or comments on their books for inclusion
Winter Reading Blog. They can be submitted online with your title,
dropped at the desk with your entry form, or
emailed to Eileen Pearce.
Drawings for prizes will be held every Friday beginning January 24. All you need to
do to be eligible to win is to READ what you like and to submit an entry form for every book that you complete.
Please submit only books completed during the program, January 2 through March 7. We will also have 2 special prizes for
most books read during January and February

The grand prize will be a handmade warm and cozy afghan in shades of blue (modeled above by "Ms. Libby," our most avid
library supporter and frequent model), just perfect for
cuddling up with a good book on a cold day. The grand prize afghan will be on display at the Circulation Desk
throughout the program.
All entries that have not previously been chosen for a weekly prize will be included in the grand prize drawing,
which will be held on March 7, 2014. Each book you read and submit is another chance to win!
The last date for turning in entries will be March 7.
